Matt Yates is the Founder and President of Cordia Property Solutions, a Louisville-based construction management and facility solutions firm serving commercial, industrial, nonprofit, and institutional clients throughout Kentucky and Southern Indiana.
Background
With a career spanning economic development, industrial real estate, site selection, business development, and construction, Matt brings a unique perspective to every project. Before founding Cordia, he held leadership positions with Louisville Metro Government, the Louisville Riverport Authority, and Kelley Construction, where he worked alongside business owners, developers, manufacturers, logistics operators, and public-sector leaders to advance complex projects and facility initiatives.

Matt's experience allows him to understand projects from the owner's perspective. Whether coordinating facility repairs, managing capital improvements, overseeing tenant improvements, or serving as an owner's representative during construction, his focus remains the same: protecting the client's interests while delivering practical, cost-effective solutions.

Throughout his career, Matt has helped support economic development initiatives, industrial expansion projects, site selection efforts, facility upgrades, and construction projects across a wide range of industries. He is recognized as a Business First 40 Under 40 honoree and has been featured among Louisville's People to Know in Economic Development, Manufacturing, and Construction. He also holds the Inland Marine Port Executive (IMPE) certification and is a Kentucky Colonel.
